Interactive Orchestra

In 2017, the Interactive Orchestra, an iteration of the Global Orchestra in partnership with Accenture Interactive, took to the stage at the Sydney Opera House as part of the Adobe Symposium. What made this particular performance special? Baxter and smartphones. In this video, Charlie Chan and Justin Baird, two of the founders and trustees of the Global Orchestra, discuss the genesis of the project and how a marimba-playing robot and light from the audience's phones combined to create a truly collaborative musical experience in one of the most famous architectural landmarks in the world.
